Pei 沛沛 (Pei-Chin Lee) is an emerging Taiwanese composer specializing in film, commercials, video games, virtual reality, and concert music. She earned her undergraduate degree in film from National Chengchi University (NCCU) and completed a master’s degree in film scoring at Berklee College of Music. Currently, she is the head of PEI PEI STUDIO Co., Ltd. and serves as a composer in residence for the ANCORE Orchestra in Taipei.
Pei's musical styles and mediums are diverse. She has composed music for numerous domestic and international advertisements, animations, feature short films, documentary shorts, theater productions, games, and virtual reality projects.
Her score for the feature short "RE Examination" was shortlisted for the 25th Taiwan Women’s Film Festival. Additionally, the documentary short "Legit Moms, Illegitimate Kid" was selected for screening in the judicial program of the 57th Taipei Golden Horse Film Festival. Her historical series, "Hotel Saltwater," which was released in 2024, is available on both Netflix and PTS, with the original soundtrack album released in physical and digital formats.
Pei also arranges pop songs. In 2023, she made a jazz string arrangement of "No Time" for Robot Swing's album "System Booting." The band received a nomination for the Best Band Award at the 34th Golden Melody Awards for this album.
Pei is passionate about exploring the narrative potential of different instruments in scoring and is keen on the innovative interaction between music and film. Her priority is to write music that enhances storytelling, which she considers the spark in her life.

This was the first film scoring training program held by the government(Bureau of Audiovisual and Music Industry Development, Ministry of Culture) in Taiwan. There were 40 lessons(160 hours) in this project, including film composition, orchestration ,midi mockup, recording and mixing.
